MUSIC

From 1998 until 2003 I sang with The Lewinskys, an all girl rock band from North Germany. We had a lot of fun during that time and it was then that I began writing song lyrics. To begin with, I wrote lyrics to Manu's melodies, but since then I have written for others, including Cadet Mwankana (I Want To Fly) and John Fisher. I've been singing on some demos for Rob Crane in Cambridge, and did some vocals for the Ashes Advert on Radio 4 for Pete Thomas. I have also written some of my own melodies as well. Not much into performing live music these days, but I would love to do a musical.

Here are some songs to listen to and download

About Your Love feat. ESO on guitar

This song was written by me and Manu with the two of us sharing the singing... It was on our CD Magic Ride, along with Thing of the Past, but the version I've put here is the original with the only difference being Eric Osbourne who has added some very mean guitar riffs. I'm becoming more and more partial to this version... So click here to listen to more of his incredible stuff.

The Path That You Take

This song was written by me (lyrics) and Manu (music), performed in Manu's studio. She played the guitar and sang backgrounds, as well as the second verse. A simple, acoustic song.

You Made My Day

This was a song I wrote myself and then won 2nd prize for in the Schwerin Conservatory of Music's Songwriting Contest 2002. Christine sang it and Maike Virk played the violin, Christiane Moeckel played piano and Manu, along with the others, sang harmonies. It's a beautiful version!

Thing of the Past

This song was again written by me and Manu, with Doerte on lead vocals, recorded for the Lewinskys CD Magic Ride.

Someone Else's Shoes

This is the latest song of mine and Manu's, recorded last February in her studio. She's singing harmonies, playing drums and guitar and her son, Florian, is on bass.

The Land of Tranquil Light

This is a John Fisher song I wrote the lyrics for. Steve George from Swervedriver recorded all the instruments and I'm singing it. Just a sweet little lullaby.
